Who we are
Proton Radiation Buddy is dedicated to those who are prescribed radiation treatment and face the critical decision to use Proton or Photon Therapy. PRB offers Proton Therapy resources, connections and outreach so patients feel empowered, informed and prepared.
Proton Radiation Buddy was started by a warrior girl, a breast cancer patient, a wife, a stepmother, a daughter, a friend, a fitness nut, a faithful woman, a business person & a survivor named Denise Durgin. Denise had radiation treatment for breast cancer at the Maryland Proton Radiation Treatment Center in 2018. Here is her patient story on the Maryland Proton Radiation Treatment Website.
